Hajduszoboszlo is also referred to as "Mecca of rheumatics". The most popular spa resort on the Great Plain has been receiving guests longing for bathing and recreation for 70 years which marks the event of thermal water forcing its way up from depths of 1.100 metres is 75 °C through the whole year. Iodine-salt stream evaporating from the 10.000 m² water surface area provides the remarkable micro-climate of the bath.

Location, access

HUNGUEST Hotel Hoforras awaits its guests in the distinguished area of the spa. From Budapest the town can be reached in 3 hours by car on main road 4 or on motorway M3 through Budapest, Fuzesabony, then on main road 33 through the Hortobagy.

Guest room information

The hotel has 93 double rooms. Each room has a bathroom and is equipped with colour television (satellite channels), minibar and direct dial telephone. Extra beds are available in 15 rooms upon request. Most of the rooms are with balcony.

Dining and entertainment

Restaurant "Hoforras" serves an excellent selection of international and Hungarian specialities. In the lobby of the hotel you can find a drink bar with wide selection of drinks. Room service is available. In the summertime there are bacon toasting and grill opportunity in the hotel garden.

Spa therapy section

The hotel has its own medical section and hosts a rheumatism clinic and dentist's surgery. Treatments available: therapeutic massage, refreshing massage, underwater therapy, mud treatments, electrotherapy, medical gymnastics, underwater gymnastics.

Sport and fitness

Within the hotel:

indoor thermal pool, sauna, solarium, jacuzzi. Between 1 May and 30 September a swimming pool, a thermal spring, a children's pool, playgound and buffet operate in the garden.

Next to the hotel you can find a football field and tennis court.
