The beautiful mansion-like building of Elisabeth Queen Park Hotel was built in 1893 according to the plans of Miklós Ybl. The building functioned as a hotel and a catering establishment until the end of World War II.

Guests who long for relaxation, recreation are welcome in the entirely renovated hotel as well as those guests who arrive for business trips.

The Conference and section room provides excellent conditions for organizing presentations, courses and business meetings.

The conference hall has natural light, air-condition and its basic area is 78 m2. With theatre Style seating it is suitable for 60 person, with classroom stlye seating it is suitable for 40 person, while in U-shape 35 person has enough place to sit.

Our non-smoking restaurant is suitable for family Events or other occurences( up to 64 person). Our smoking restaurant and our drink bar- both suitable for 20 person- leads to the non-smoking restaurant, yet these rooms cannot be opened up to one room.

Natural sights

Ilona-Waterfalls: It`s one of the greatest natural waterfalls in Hungary with it’s 8m high. It`s got its name after the grandchild of Károlyi György like the whole Ilona-Valley. It is 7km far from Paradfurdo.

The ancient Maple-Tree of the Matra Hills: Between Paradsasvár and Paradfürdő, along the road 24, where the Tarna flows through under the road, a huge maple-tree can be found. The rare natural treasure is the only sample of the species.

The chestnut-tree line: On both sides of the road between Recsk and Parádfurdő can be seen a more than 100 years old chestnut-tree line. That is under environmental protection and it is a determinant symbol of the area.

Kekes the highest mountain of Hungary: Kekes is the highest peak not only of the Matra Hills, but also of the whole country. Travelling on the road it`s 22km far from Paradfurdo , but it can be reached on foothpath through the forest as well.

The Castle in Sirok: It belongs to the history of the village. It is 17km far from Paradfurdo and is open all year round. From this place there`s a beautiful view over the settlement.

The lake in the Buzas-Valley: It is only 10 km far from Parádfürdő. It is one of the cleanest fishing-lakes in Hungary and most of the Hungarian fishes can be found here. It is a popular place for those people, who like fishing and being close to nature.

The castle in Kisnana: In the middle of the settlement towers a castle -built in the XV. Century- over it. That works as a museum today.

Egerszalok: It is the youngest watering-place in Hungary. It is used for medical treatments, or only for having a bath. The temperature of the water is 68°C and where it rushes up, it makes there a huge white hillock because of it’s high salt concentrate. It is a sight for the gods.

The Arboretum in Erdotelek: In the park of the past Buttler-Castle can be found an Arboretum. The visitors can have a walk among that particular flowers, trees and evergreens.

Museums

Cifra riding area-coachmuseum: It was built in 1880 designed by Miklós Ybl. It`s got its name of it`s decorative appearance. Once that was the riding area of the Károlyi Family. Today it works as a coach museum with many interesting thing from the invention of the wheel.

Glassfactory in Paradsasvar: The factory was settled by Rakoczy Ferenc II. near 300 years ago. The speciality of that, that productions are handmade in the present as well.

Paloc house: That house make chance for the travellers to see inside the life of the Palóc people.

The National Memorial Park in Recsk: Under the years of communism a concentration camp worked there. Today it helps to remember that terrible times. The prisoners were there because of political reasons and worked in the stone quarry. Many captive died by the aggressive and brutality treatment.
