Redecorated in the autumn of 2004, Hotel Belenus is situated in one of the quietest district of Zalakaros, a mere 3-minute walk from the spa; it is run by a family. The hotel got its name from Belenus, a Celtic sun-god. Its main characteristic is healing and it is the god of springs as well, its sacred herb is henbane.
The 2-storey building welcomes its guests with 40 double rooms. The hotel itself is surrounded by a 5500 m2 park which offers pleasant relaxation with a swimming pool (completed with massage), a sun porch, and tennis grounds and with a playground for both adults and children. We are expecting those who long for a peaceful rest of high quality on each day of the year.
Our rooms are comfortable and satisfy every need of our guests. They are equipped with a private bathroom, a separate toilet, a hair-dryer, cable television, telephone, a fridge and with a safe (charged extra) and the balcony offers a nice view furnished with outdoor furniture. A spare bed can be put in if needed.
The size of the ground space in each room (even with a spare bed) allows a comfortable and peaceful relaxation for families as well. Our qualified staff speaks more languages and is always at your disposal; thus, they ensure a complete recreation for you.

Room service is available 24 hours. At the swimming pool aqua-gymnastics is for those who are keen on doing exercise. The sun porch and sauna at our hotel are both free for our guests.
We invite you to our lobby bar and to the garden, which seats 40 guests, where you can enjoy your cocktail or refreshment even at the pool. You can also use our transfer service to reach any further destination (e.g. the airport of Sármellék, Keszthely etc.).
Our rent-a-bike service provides bicycles in good condition for bikers at reasonable prices. Our well-equipped and safe playground is the place where the kids can enjoy themselves. Our news-stall with Hungarian and foreign daily papers and magazines, and with postal goods like postcards and stamps is at your service.
Access - from direction of Sopron:
Take road 84 to Sarvar, then turn to the direction of Keszthely still on road 84, then change to road 71. From Keszthely, you should turn off road 75 at Zalaapati.
Access - from direction of Budapest:
Take motorway 7 (don`t forget to buy motorway-sticker) to Zamardi, then continue on main road 7 to the direction of Nagykanizsa. At the sign Galambok, where you reach a junction, turn off the main road.
